“ Holy bbq!!! Im from the south and this was so comparable! While everything we had was worth coming back for, that brisket and wings were top notch! Try it! ”
“ My Bf keeps announcing to anyone who will listen that these were the best ribs he's ever had in his life. And I totally agree. Something about the bark on them, the flavor, everything was perfect. No sauce needed, they were delicious! Mac'n'cheese was great too. Service was truly wonderful. We live in a smaller town a few hours away in the mountains, and drive into Denver sometimes just to get good food, and we will definitely be returning. ”
“ We went late and a dead giveaway for truly great bbq is when most items are gone. While in the mood for brisket and burnt ends we "settled" for pork ribs, and chicken and sweet potato rolls. While the chicken was better than good, the ribs were incredible. As a KCBS Certified bbq judge I would put these at the top of any rib I've tasted. Perfectly cooked with an award winning dental bite, just enough jalapeño to keep them interesting without turning the less heat tolerant consumers away, and epic taste. My new standard for the perfect pork rib! Sweet potato's rolls were a great accruement. ”
“ Alright. This one is it guys. If you're in the mood for BBQ, look no further. Sooooooo goood. Tastes like some superb home cooking. Got a brisket, burnt ends, OG mac, and loaded fries with pulled chicken. All meats were moist, bbq sauce was spot on with the perfect amount of tanginess and sweetness. Cheese sauce on the fries and OG mac were the same and the perfect amount of creaminess. Not really a sit-in type of place but we did anyway! Would recommend! ”
“ First, this place has a full parking lot in the back, making it easy to get to. The staff and very friendly! The place is small, but clean. The menu has all your classic barbecue options. My partner got 1/4 lb of pulled pork and 1/4 lb of brisket. I got the ColoBama sandwich. We also got the OG mac and cheese and the beans as sides. The meat itself was good! Much better than Dicky's. The green chile queso was not spicy, but also didn't have much flavor. I ended up adding some sweet barbecue sauce to the sandwich; then it was very good! The mac and cheese was better than most other mac and cheese I have had from other quick serve restaurants. My partner said the beans were very good! Overall, we were satisfied and plan to go back! ”
“ Burnt ends were amazing. Beautiful smoke ring on the brisket; would love more bark. Sausages made locally, and it shows. Friendly, knowledgeable staff Excellent new BBQ, we will return! ”
“ Food: 4.5 stars- do NOT order the slaw it is bagged slaw with a little bit of vinegar poured over it. I payed $5.49 for this and let's just say I was UPSET at the cost. I can buy 2 bags of slaw mix for that price myself. Burnt Ends- were amazing in flavor, tenderness and juicy. I just used the house BBQ and was pleased with flavor. Baked cherry beans were good (a little thick on the sauce for me) Sweet potato roll was very tasty! Service: 3 stars the guy behind the counter taking orders and giving direction was easily flustered. Ambiance: a little bar top with 4 stools and 2 tables with 2 chairs. It would probably be best to place an order to go. ”
“ Forgive me, for I have sinned. I have become a gluten for this seasoned swine hahaha Today I tried the wings and the prime brisket! I had the blueberry habanero wings which were absolutely delicious! I expected them to be super hot but they have a very balanced flavor between the spicy and blueberry. Neither is overbearing for a perfect blend! The other flavor I received was the house sweet bbq which is perfect how it is! A great bbq flavor with a hint of sweetness! I also tried the prime brisket which a guy in front of me has gotten (with extra juice!) and it was just as good as he promised! The pictures of prime brisket were from after I put them in the fridge so don't be deceived! One last thing - if you are hankering for something specific, call ahead and make sure they aren't sold out! Or if you don't want to wait in line for long! Also, the location has parking in the back! ”
“ Some of the best bbq I've had in colorado! This is their 2nd location (first was in golden) and the flavors are top tier. Lots of options for different types of meat and sides. This location is pretty small but still plenty of room to enjoy your meal. ”
